About the Activity
The Samudrinka Naval Marine museum is Port Blair’s equivalent of the Museum of Natural History. We’re not kidding. It even as a huge whale fossil in it! If you’re interested in flora and fauna of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, then this is the place to be.
The museum is spread across 5 big rooms dedicated to flora, fauna, marine life, corals and so on. With its interactive exhibits and informative displays, the museum offers an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages. And as it was constructed and maintained by the Indian Navy, one can also study about the region’s role in Indian naval history here. Lastly, you visit the curio shop to take back a few souvenirs from your trip here.

Basic Information

- The entrance ticket price for Adults is INR 50 and for Childrens is INR 25.
- Naval Marine museum will be closed on Mondays and on all national holidays.

Do you have to take a print out of the ticket?
It is mandatory to carry a print-out of your ferry tickets. A soft copy or email confirmation is not valid to board the ferry. Another important document to carry is your valid ID Card/ Passport.
