The Samudrinka Naval Marine museum is Port Blair’s equivalent of the Museum of Natural History. We’re not kidding. It even as a huge whale fossil in it! If you’re interested in flora and fauna of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, then this is the place to be.
The museum is spread across 5 big rooms dedicated to flora, fauna, marine life, corals and so on. With its interactive exhibits and informative displays, the museum offers an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages. And as it was constructed and maintained by the Indian Navy, one can also study about the region’s role in Indian naval history here.
