Want the best underwater experience? Havelock Boat Dive is what you’re looking for and we definitely suggest you do it! The process involves documentation, theory lessons, and a confined practice session post which you go for the actual dive.
After finishing paperwork, theory and skill practice sessions, you reach your dive site by a boat which is generally a 5-10 minute ride. Havelock remains one of the most popular destinations for scuba diving in entire India.

Full Schedule
Arrive at your dive center, familiarize yourself with the staff and fill a couple of forms.
Your dive center will help you with your equipment fittings. You will be fitted with a mask, fins, booties, dive suit and a BCD of your size.
A briefing will take place where you’ll be familiarized with the theory of scuba diving, the dive location and the dive site.
You along with the scuba gear will be loaded on the boat and the boat will take you near the dive spot.
Learn the basic scuba diving skills on the surface of the water.
After you’ve learnt the basics on the surface, perform the skills under water.
See the sea unfurl its magic under water. Witness vibrant and teeming marine life.
After completing the dive, get on the boat and return to the dive center. Get changed and receive your Discover Scuba Dive certification!
Basic Information
- Reach at the designated time mentioned by the dive center because water currents and tide behavior changes which affects visibility and ease of diving.
- Minimum age to dive is 10 years.
- Mention all the medical conditions truthfully so that the instructor can help you find a solution before dives in order to avoid any issues underwater.
- Bring an extra pair of innerwear as your wetsuit will get completely drenched.
- Have a light meal before diving to avoid feeling nauseous.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the dive.
- Free rescheduling can be done until 12 hours before the dive, but it completely depends on the slot availability.

Who cannot do Scuba Diving?
People with disabilities, pregnant women, people with back issues and respiratory illnesses are strictly not allowed to Scuba Dive.

Is scuba diving safe?
Scuba Diving is a safe water activity that is done by thousands of people across the world, daily. It is recommended that you have a decent level of fitness like being able to walk for 45 mins without getting tired. All Instructors and dive masters are equipped with internationally recognized certifications and are trained in dive supervision, diver rescue and Emergency First Response (EFR).

Do I need to know how to swim?
You can do scuba diving even if you do not know how to swim. You will always be accompanied by an experienced instructor or dive master. They’re there to help you stay comfortable underwater and will assist you at all times.

What to carry?

What to wear?
Wear your swim-wear or you can even wear a quick-dry shirt and shorts. A wetsuit will be provided at the dive shop that will be worn over this. Wear flip-flops when you go to the dive shop. It is advisable not to wear sports shoes, heels or boots.
