In the lap of a charming beach, Emerald Gecko pampers its travellers with tastefully designed bamboo cottages which are a true delight to stay in. Of the four types of accommodation available, their double-storied bamboo huts with a small sit-out overlooking the beach are a great pick. They also have bungalows with a special open-air shower, among which some even have a palm tree in the middle of the bathroom. The newest additions are bamboo cabins with concrete floors and an attached bathroom. The most luxurious are the two-storied spacious bamboo lodges with a veranda overlooking the sea.

Black Beard’s Bistro, their lovely beachfront restaurant, serves Indian and continental fare. The eco-friendly owners are striving to reduce use of plastic and provide free refills of filter water to guests. The resort organises fishing, snorkelling and scuba trips. There is also a small library at the reception for those who want to grab a book and head for the hammock.
