Hawva Beach Resort is a step above other simple bamboo resorts as it offers newer, cleaner cottages with attached bathrooms.

The rooms with concrete flooring are simple and all have a double bed and a mosquito net. This family run resort is small with only 5 rooms and it offers a pleasant home stay experience. Their kitchen serves homemade dishes with some seafood options and the usual Indian fare.

Hawva Beach Resort is actually set at the main road and not on the beach, as the name suggests. The Netaji beach is across the road following a narrow path. Motorbike, scooter and bicycle rents are available as well as surfboards. Snorkels and fins are free to use for all guests staying there. Upon request they can also arrange guides to waterfalls or other trekking options on the island.
