STB offers a very basic lodge type accommodation overlooking the helipad ground in Mayabunder. The rooms in a two-storey building are rather small, dingy but all have an attached bathroom and are economically priced. The place is popular among locals traveling to the north of the islands so rooms are usually full. The interesting part is they charge only Rs 50 for an extra person in the room but with no extra mattress.
