About Tango Beach Resort
Tango Beach Resort is the only resort on Neil Island where you can actually stay on the beach and relax listening to the soothing sound of the sea.
There are various types of accommodation to choose from as they have 42 rooms. However the prices differ not by the type, but by the location of the rooms; cheaper ones are those further from the beach. They have bamboo huts, bamboo cottages and some concrete cottages all with an attached bathroom offering a comfortable stay.
Tango is one of the oldest places on Neil but it still remains as laid back and friendly as it was before. Even though it is pricier compared to other resorts, it does get busy during high season, so booking ahead is advisable.
The restaurant here offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. And there are plenty of activities to choose from; snorkelling, diving, fishing. They can also organise boat trips, glass bottom boats and ski jets if interested.
If you book in advance they provide pick up and drop off services.
The only downside of the place is that they burn the waste and rubbish behind the cottages and bury them in the ground; not a very eco-friendly place.
