Turtle Nest Resort

Kalipur, Diglipur, North Andaman

About Turtle Nest Resort

Set on a small hill with great sea views and lush paddy fields of Kalipur village, Turtle Nest is a great pick, even for a longer holiday stay. They have eight spacious and clean rooms with an en-suite bathroom and lovely balconies, some overlooking the enchanting Kalipur beach. The prices are very cheap for what you get but the place could use a bit of renovation. Even though this is yet another guesthouse from Tourism Department it is far more relaxed and open to tourists compared to any other government place in the whole Andamans. Yes, some government officials do stay here, but the guesthouse also accepts walk-ins if they have a vacancy. The in-house restaurant offers delicious and very cheap Indian dishes with limited seafood. The waiting can be long so it is best to order a couple of hours in advance. The beach is just a short walk down the hill and the snorkeling near Craggy Island one of the best in the North Andaman.
