Getting Around in Port Blair

Though a small town, Port Blair has been rapidly expanding, thus making it often difficult for tourists to self-navigate especially without Google maps (thanks to patchy internet).

Thus renting a chauffeured car is recommended especially for groups and families. Auto-rickshaws are also widely available and prove to be an inexpensive way of transport. Buses though, well connected, may be difficult to catch as proper scheduled and timings are not followed or available.
