The Full Moon Café
About Full Moon Cafe
About Full Moon Cafe
A view of the beach, friendly staff, and delightful food– there is no place that brings all these together like the Full Moon Café. This Charming restaurant is set inside island Vinnies (Dive India) and is one of Havelock’s most recommended restaurants.
From the original American pancakes to a variety of freshly brewed coffee, from the amazing desserts to the authentic seafood, all items are prepared on order using local and fresh ingredients. The setting is cozy with comfortable sofas, dim ambient lighting, and pleasant music.
Though some of the dishes may seem pricier compared to those of other restaurants, we believe it’s a good value for money.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
Reservations are not mandatory at most restaurants in the Andamans, but we recommend booking in advance during peak tourist seasons (December to March) or for popular restaurants and dinner hours.
Are vegetarian or vegan food options available?
Yes, most restaurants offer vegetarian options. Vegan choices may be limited, but some cafes and resorts are happy to customize dishes upon request.
Do restaurants in the Andamans serve alcohol?
Yes, some restaurants and restobars serve beer and wine. Liquor licenses are restricted, so availability may vary depending on the island and the restaurant.
What kind of seafood is available in Andaman restaurants?
Fresh seafood is a highlight here! Expect to find fish, prawns, lobsters, and crabs, often caught locally and prepared in Indian, Continental, or fusion food styles depending on the restaurant.
Are there any restaurants open late at night?
Andaman restaurants usually close early, most by 9:30–10:00 PM. It's best to check timings in advance or plan dinner early, especially on smaller islands.
Do restaurants accept card payments or UPI?
Many places accept cards and UPI, especially in Port Blair and Havelock. But on remote islands carrying some cash is advisable.
