Reaching Chidiya Tapu Beach is simple and convenient. The beach is around 45 minutes from Port Blair, and there are multiple ways to get there:
- By Rental Bikes: A highly recommended option for travelers to reach Chidiya Tapu andaman is by renting a scooter or bike allows you to explore at your own pace. The scenic ride through lush green forests is an experience in itself, and rentals are available for just ₹500 per day.
- By Cab: The most comfortable way to reach Chidiya Tapu Andaman is by hiring a cab from Port Blair. They are easily available and offer comfort, but come with time constraints and extra charges for waiting.
- By Bus: Public buses run on this route, but they are not very frequent and do not allow much flexibility for exploring the area at your own pace.

The best time to visit ChidiyaTapu Beach is during the dry season, from November to April. During these months, the weather is pleasant, with cool sea breezes and clear skies, perfect for outdoor activities like trekking, birdwatching, and photography. The monsoon season, from May to October, brings heavy rains in Chidiya Tapu Andaman, making it less ideal for visitors. However, if you prefer fewer crowds and don’t mind occasional showers, the off-season can also offer a peaceful experience here.

A moderate 1.5 km trek through dense forests leads to the southernmost tip of South Andaman Island.
