The best time to visit Radhanagar Beach is from October to May, when the weather is pleasant and the sea remains calm. For the best experience, plan your visit around 3:00 PM and stay until sunset, when the beach offers some of the most scenic views in Havelock Island.

If you prefer early mornings, you can visit Kalapathar Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Havelock Island for sunrise and head to Radhanagar later in the day.

How to Reach Radhanagar Beach?

Radhanagar Beach is located around 12 kilometers from the Havelock Jetty on Havelock Island along the western coast of the Andamans. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Beach No. 7 from the jetty.

You can reach Havelock Island easily by booking a private ferry from Port Blair To Havelock Island. You can also take a ferry from Neil Island to Havelock, do note that this is a connecting ferry and you need to head from Neil Island to Port Blair first.

    Once you reach Havelock Island, you can hire a chauffeured cab to reach Radhanagar Beach. This is the most convenient option for families and groups, as self-drive cars are not available on the island. The road to the beach is straightforward and the drive takes around 20 minutes.

  2. By Rental Bike (Best for Couples & Small Groups):

    Rental bikes are a popular option for smaller groups and couples. The route is simple and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable ride to the beach. However, bike rentals may not be suitable during monsoon conditions.

  3. By Bus or Shared Transport (Budget Option):

    Public buses, air-conditioned buses, and shared jeeps are available from the jetty and market area, but they operate at fixed timings. It is advisable to check schedules at the jetty information desk or through your hotel travel desk after arriving in Havelock Island.
